Threshold to Washington Lecture Hall

The entrance to Washington is a single-width door. There are movable chairs and immovable tables. At the threshold, the carpet changes from a golden yellow floral-type pattern on a dark navy blue background to a carpet with golden diamonds separated by navy blue lines. Closer to the first row of tables, the carpet changes to a solid navy blue.

There are steps up to the stage in the Washington Lecture Hall. There is also a white lift for wheelchair users or those who would prefer not to use the stairs.

At the front of the Washington Lecture Hall, there are two large screens for sharing presentation slides or videos. The screens hang above the stage.

A set of double-doors, dark wood on the outside of the room and white with mirrors on the inside, leads into the Ballroom. There is a slight break in the navy and gold pattern at the entrance, where it changes to a solid navy color. There are chairs around a table.

The inside of the Ballroom has many lights, include a few chandeliers. The navy and gold patterned carpet exists throughout the room.

A golden and reddish compass is centered in a common space in the conference area. The compass is surrounded by a dark navy carpet. Hallways branch off from this area in multiple directions.

The navy and gold patterned carpet is present throughout the hallway on the conference level. There are a few seating options in the hallway against the creamy-colored walls. There are doorways on either side of the hallway leading into the breakout rooms.

White walls and a light colored tile floor line the accessible pathway between the lobby and the AKA Room. The hallway is a storage location as well, that has many stacked chairs on one side.

A grand staircase descends from the the lobby area to the lower conference level. There are handrails on either side of the staircase. The floor at the top of the staircase is very dark, shiny square tiles separated by a light color grout.

There are charging stations lining the wall with stools tucked under a flat surface area for seating. These stations are divided by glass partitions attached to the cream colored walls. As with most areas of the conference level, the floor is covered in a gold and navy patterned carpet.

A single-width doorway leads downward to a ramp with handrails on both sides. These dark handrails contrast with the creamy walls. The carpet transitions from one dark floral pattern in the hallway to a different dark pattern on the ramp.

Tall seating and tables (aka bar-height seating) sits on a dark patterned carpet. There are a few hanging light features and some wall sconces to provide artificial light, in addition to the windows on one side of the room.
